How JMP Technologies uses Google Search Console and Google Analytics in JMP Dashboard, and how to review the product without a login.
What this app is
JMP Dashboard is the client portal from JMP Technologies. It shows website analytics, contacts, and content for sites JMP builds and manages. The public homepage for this application is https://jmptech.dev/jmp-dashboard.
You can open a public sample dashboard (no login) at https://portal.jmptech.dev/sample-dashboard?website=sample-jmp.
Why we request Google data
Only a JMP agency administrator connects Google. Client users never see the Google consent screen. We use the connected agency account to:
- Google Search Console: read search performance data and manage site properties for client domains in the agency account.
- Google Site Verification: request DNS TXT verification tokens so client domains can be verified in Search Console.
- Google Analytics (read-only): read aggregated GA4 reports so clients can view Google Analytics charts in the dashboard without signing in to Google.
We do not request Gmail, Drive, Fit, or other unrelated Google APIs. Full details are in the privacy policy.
How to test OAuth (reviewers)
Sign-in is invite-only. Google Cloud verification reviewers should use the test email and password submitted with the OAuth verification request (not published here).
- Open portal.jmptech.dev/login and sign in with the provided credentials. No extra intake form is required.
- Open Admin settings (Admin in the main nav, then Settings).
- Find Search Console (agency account) and choose Connect or Reconnect.
- Complete Google’s consent screen. You can cancel after the scopes are visible if you do not want to leave a connection on the test account.
After a connection exists, Analytics → Google Analytics on a linked site shows GA4 charts. Content → Contact is where measurement and property IDs are saved.
